Our Services

Flexible, person-centred support for adults, children, families and carers, delivered at home and in  the community.

Our services support participants to build skills, confidence and independence in everyday life, while working  collaboratively with allied health professionals to support therapy goals beyond clinic sessions.

Services may be delivered alongside therapy or as standalone supports, depending on each participant’s  needs and goals.

Small Group Programs

Having consistent support between therapy sessions helped our family turn strategies into everyday  routines. The team worked alongside our therapist and really understood our child’s needs.”

Our Approach

How our services work

Our approach supports participants to make meaningful progress by strengthening the connection between  therapy, support and everyday life.

While this approach is most commonly applied through Therapy Assistance, the same principles of  collaboration, consistency and capacity-building guide all TASS services.

Standard Therapy Pathway

20.png

Participant receives a diagnosis and is approved for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

21.png

Participant connects with community based allied health providers for intervention services (eg Occupational  Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist)

22.png

Participant visits with allied health providers regularly for direct intervention, usually 60-75 minutes per week or fortnight

23.png

Each of the participant's providers provide a home therapy program to complete (often the care giver ends  up with 3-4 home intervention programs to complete)

Caregivers feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and are unable to complete the home intervention. Leading to poorer  outcomes.

TASS Enhanced Support Approach

Caregivers have trained and experienced home-based TASS Therapy Assistants who assist in implementing home therapy programs, in-turn boosting intervention to up to 6 hours per week

Caregivers share the burden for home therapy and are relieved, participants access more intensive home based and person-centred intervention, leading to better outcomes
